Shannon Harris -               Parenting in Difficult Situations

Shannon Harris is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.  She completed her undergraduate work at BYU-Idaho in Marriage and Family Studies and her master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Argosy University.  In addition to seeing clients in her Sandy office, she also teaches a Parenting course at BYU-Idaho. 
-She works with families, couples, and individuals who struggle with their relationships.  She believes that part of mortality is learning how to strengthen relationships with our families, friends, co-workers, etc, but also learning how to strengthen our relationship with ourselves and most importantly with our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.
-She considers her real-world experience of being a parent her greatest education.  In the 17 years she has been a parent, her family has transformed and evolved which has given her the opportunity to experience traditional parenting, co-parenting, parallel-parenting, and now step-parenting.

Cory Ercanbrack

  Experiences as a Teen in a Blended Family - Effects Then and Now

Cory is a Registered Nurse. He completed his undergraduate work at Weber State University. He has experienced many areas of the profession from Employee Health and Infection Control to Wound and Hyperbaric Medicine to Nurse Informatics.

Cory brings perspective from the eyes of a 14 year old boy that lost his father unexpectedly, to a now 50 year old that looks back over life and the challenges and changes that have occurred. He shares his observations and things felt and learned over his lifetime of change. Going from a family of 5 kids to 10 with, even birthdays of his step siblings being nearly identical to those of his own siblings, held it’s own challenges. Through all the changes and challenges in the imperfections of life, Cory still finds the most joy in family.

Stan and Michelle Lockhart

.   Reinventing Yourself in a New Life, Marriage and Family 

Stan is a widower of 7 1/2 years when he lost his 46 year old wife Becky to Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (CJD). Becky is the only woman to be Utah Speaker of the House of Representatives. Through a grief journey that included 150 dates, he met Michelle Rhodes who lost her husband Dan to Metastatic Melanoma just three months after Becky’s death. Stan was her first date. They have now been happily married for five years with a blended family of seven children and eleven grandchildren.
Stan is a BYU graduate and has worked in technology, public affairs and lobbying for over 30 years. He helps clients navigate the complexities of government and has helped bring thousands of jobs to Utah. Michelle is a BYU-I graduate and has been a Registered Nurse for 36 years. After her husband died, Michelle went back to school and became a Therapeutic Nutrition Practitioner with the Institute for Functional Medicine and a Board Certified Health and Well-being Coach. She started her own company called MoreEnergy Health where she helps people live “the good life”. Her passion is helping people get to know their body and learn how to fuel, move and rest it properly.
Stan has served in elected offices; Provo City Council, Utah State Board of Education, Chairman of the Utah Republican Party and more. He serves on several boards of directors; Utah Valley Chamber of Commerce, Lone Peak Hospital, Thanksgiving Point Institute, etc. He also officiates high school basketball, runs marathons and enjoys golf and traveling. Michelle loves to be with family, play with grandkids, study and learn. Stan and Michelle love to hike and explore the world.
Michelle raised her family in Chesterfield VA and within six weeks of Dan’s death, she bought a house in Utah and headed west. Stan raised his family in Provo UT. Today they call Pleasant Grove UT home.

Holly Price Banford - Healthy Living and Eating 

Holly Price-Banford is from Cottonwood Heights UT and has lived in UT all of her life except for when she served an LDS mission to Baton Rouge Louisiana and a short stint living in Hawaii. Holly married Cory Price and they had 6 kids together. Cory and Holly loved traveling and running races together. Cory passed away suddenly in 2016 while in surgery for removal of a kidney stone. Holly found the WW group through an uncle and started reading the posts on Facebook. She went to the WW conference in Provo when she was only 4 months widowed, but it was exactly what she needed. Soon after Cory passed away Holly decided to go back to school and finish her degree in Health Promotion. She got a scholarship and a grant to Weber State University and went back full time while being a single mom with 4 kids still at home. Holly went to the very first event with the events group where she met her husband Gary. Gary and Holly married in May of 2017 and have a combined 11 kids!. In Dec of 2018 Holly graduated from WSU on her 50th birthday. She now works for Select Health as a Health Benefits Specialist. She is also a certified Health Coach.

Shaunna Thompson - Morning Keynote Speaker

​Shaunna Thompson is a local professional actress and singer. Her love for the arts has been with her since she was a little girl. She has been seen on the stage, television, and movies for over 40 years. Most recently, she can be seen as Ishmael’s wife on the Book of Mormon videos and as Maggie the waitress on “Yellowstone” with Kevin Costner. She has an LDS podcast for training new mission presidents and their wives, and is the announcer for General Women’s Conference. She, and her husband, have served as Branch President over English-speaking missionaries at the Provo MTC and she is currently the Young Women’s president in her ward. She’s humbled and excited to spend a morning with all of you!

Charity Lighten is an author, speaker, and mediocre golfer.  Canadian by birth, German by work ethic, American by citizenship, and French by her love of pastries, Charity has shared her messages with thousands of people all over the globe. She has a passion for food, faith, family, and friends. She is eager to share the lessons she has learned as a wife, mother, entrepreneur, CEO, widow, and recent newlywed. Charity combines a business degree, a graduate degree, and over 15 years of experience engaging audiences across every sector.  Her deepest desire is to share conversion, conviction, and connection with her fellow followers of Christ all over the globe.
