"The Widows Might"

13th Annual WW Service Project

“Charity is the pure love of Christ, and whoso is found possessed of it at the last day, it shall be well with him”

(Moroni 7:47)

We all have been blessed in our grief journey. This may be a good time for us as a group to lift the burden of others. We have chosen 3 service projects to help fund during our time together this week. They are all unique.  If you would like to donate to any of these causes you can use Venmo. Or put your change in a jar at the conference.

“by small and simple things are great things brought to pass.” Alma 37:6

Project #1-

Over 4 million refugees have been forced to flee Ukraine.

The IRC is on the ground in Poland supporting displaced children

and families with vital supplies. Your gift will help us provide food,

medical care and emergency support services to families whose

lives have been shattered by this conflict.  Please join us in

donating to the International Rescue Committee Ukraine project.

Project #2-

The mission of Best Friends is to end the killing in America's

animal shelters and create a time when there are no more

homeless pets. This group of ordinary but passionate people

believed that every pet has a story, each one worth saving,

each life individual and important.

Project #3-

Mountain High School is building a teen center

to serve our students. We have a higher percentage of homeless

students than any other schools in our district.  As an alternative

high school, Mountain High School supports students with great

needs and challenges that complicate their efforts to graduate

from high school. The teen center will help them overcome

attendance barriers and will provide them with a place to shower,

do laundry, and obtain necessary personal hygiene items.

Just Serve project. Donations to Mountain High

are tax-deductible through the DSD Foundation
